DISES and the Institute of Education at the University of Minho proudly invite you to participate in an international conference on inclusion and special education to be held in Braga, Portugal in July 14 – 17, 2014. Practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and NGOs from Europe, Central Asia, South, Central and North America will be joined by colleagues from around the globe to engage in lively and informed discussions about the current state of the expertise in meeting the needs of children and youth with special educational needs. The organizing partners welcome proposals from all interested professionals from around the globe.

The conference will offer an exciting mix of outstanding keynote speakers, inspiring panel discussions, as well as cutting edge presentations from leading researchers, practitioners, civil society representatives and policy makers. The event will also be an opportunity for participants to explore future partnerships and further links between research, practice, and policy.
