The conference with the title “Buidling Bridges – From Yesterday to Tomorrow” will look at topics such as new arenas for learning, digitalization of learning environments, and new expectations and demands in the surrounding society that mean new challenges and possibilities. Main questions to be answered during the conference are “What can we bring with us from previous work and experiences into a constantly changing future? How can universities develop accessibility and pedagogical methods and tools to remove obstacles, while at the same time supporting students’ independence in higher education - and in the transition to work? This conference hopes to provide a forum to share knowledge, good practices and inspiration for new initiatives for inclusive learning environments.
The programme will seek to address the following topics:
• IT, learning platforms & apps (applications) useful in university studies
• Exams/examinations, assessments and written assignments – good examples of development of more inclusive ways to do it
• Mentorships in HE and in the transition to work/the working life
