International Congress in Cádiz: Practice in inclusive education: dialogue among school, citizenship and the university
Next 27, 28 and 29 of March will be held the IX International Congress of the University of Cádiz: “Practice in inclusive education: dialogue among school, citizenship and the university”.
Since 29 years the Special Education teaching staff organizes this annual forum offering scientists and professionals the possibility to exchange about diversity in inclusive education and to elaborate together strategic lines of research and teaching.
Nowadays inclusive education is already a reality. It has left the university context and is practised in schools and associations all over the world. The congress aims to reveal these practices of inclusive education in the pedagogic, psycho-pedagogical and socio-educational context and offers a platform for dialog and exchange between schools, associations, families and universities, principal actors that drive and develop inclusive education.
Its purpose is to plan scientifically the reflection of the action, enriching the connections between the university and environment. The congress will present different inclusive education practices, provide a pedagogical structure including the evaluation of inclusion as well as learning service examples. Debates around the future development of the culture of inclusion will give insights about its diversity, its barriers and obstacles. Goal is the development of a compulsory roadmap to foster a better educational inclusion.
All congress activities will turn around a core theme, offering space for reflection, action, dialog and exchange.
A website will summarize the results and offer the possibility to sign the compromise. The website will be the starting point for an exchange and collaborative platform on inclusive education.
