Dr Mariela Fordyce
Summary:
Mariela has completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the field of Special Needs Education, and has had the opportunity to work with children and young people with a variety of disabilities. Her main research interests are deaf literacy, deaf bilingualism, language assessment, as well as educational outcomes and transitions to adulthood of young people with disabilities.
Mariela joined Centre for Research in Education Inclusion & Diversity (CREID) in June 2012 to coordinate a project on the post-school transitions of young people with hearing impairment.
