Summary:
Stress - Coping - Santé
My research focuses on the experience of stressful situations in specific areas (1) school / university and (2) professional. The main populations studied are principally emerging adults students but adolescents and professionals involved in care and education too.
The theoretical framework of my researches is the transactional and integrative model of health psychology. Specifically I look through my research:
- - stressors and coping strategies specific to these situations,
- mental health outcomes (particularly depressive symptoms, eating disorders and burnout) and physical health outcomes (somatic symptoms), academic performance (exam results) or professional adjustment (empathy skills) and,
- - dispositional (especially self-esteem, neuroticism, body image and self-efficacy) and behavioral antecedents (particularly the - use of psychoactive substances and the physical practice).
These researches are mostly longitudinal and based on the use, development and / or validation of psychometric scales.
